A cable and a knurled nut

Two photos from a quick check under the seat: a cable adjuster hanging free, and the bullet connectors it lives next to.

Ten minutes under the seat with a flashlight, making sure I knew what every loose end was before the next session. This cable with the threaded adjuster and knurled nut used to attach at the carburetor; with the carbs out it hangs free near the shock. The adjuster boot is split and the outer sheath is original, so it’s on the replace list rather than the reuse list.

The bullet connectors next to it are the rear branch of the harness, headed back to the tail light and brake light switch.

Same cable, held up. The braided outer sheath is original; the rubber boot at the adjuster end is split.
